Self published works fall under the genre of Poetry, short stories, fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, and all other genres that classify as entertainment, motivational, inspirational, and comedic, stage plays, songs and/or any creative intellectual property.

To be published, the following submission guidelines MUST be followed. Your work can be of any genre and of any length along with our signed disclaimer to adhere to our submission procedures. Typically while self publishing your book, you would not be denied, however, we reserve the right to review submitted materials for inappropriate content of language that may not fit the focus and agenda of UWP.

Submissions Guidelines for UWP LLC

• Please submit your entire COMPLETED manuscript. Partial submissions or incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
• Manuscript must be typewritten on plain white paper.
• Manuscript must be printed using 12-point Times New Roman or Arial fonts.
• Manuscript must be double spaced, with 1 inch margins all around.
• Each page of the manuscript must be numbered.
• Manuscript must be spiral bound.
• A cover letter MUST be included, and the cover letter MUST include the author’s biographic information and any copyright information as well and full contact address and phone numbers.
• Please include a pen drive or CD containing a copy of the manuscript and all information above in Microsoft Word.
• You MUST print, sign and return the PULISHING DISCLAIMER with your submission.
• Submissions must be typed content and copy edited. If you do not have an editor or need help preparing your work for publication, we will provide you with a referral contact list.

We welcome on a CD or pen drive, your previously designed book covers, images and illustrations for your upcoming publication. Please do not send illustrations or designs that is not copy written, owned or have rights reverted legally to you. If you don’t, universal Write Publications has highly qualified designers and illustrators who will work hard together with you in order to package your work in an affordable and well designed book that will be competitive in the literary market place.

Please keep a copy of the manuscript for your files. Documents will not be returned unless you have enclosed a self-addressed stamped envelope of adequate size for returning materials. Please be sure your postage adheres to the SASE in order to prevent loss during handling. Never send your ONLY copy of a manuscript. Manuscripts that arrive without an SASE of adequate size, or lacking sufficient postage, will not be returned.

Due to the overwhelming volume of manuscripts we receive each day, submissions may take up to twelve weeks for a response.
