What do I get for publishing with Universal Write Publications LLC?

Why don’t you charge a fee or pay royalties like other POD companies?

• UWP is not technically a POD company and does not compete with mainstream publishers or Atypical POD companies. We are more of a consultation Publishing Press geared towards those who aspire to be published more for personal fulfillment or professional and educational enhancement.
• We want to empower our publishing family. Having done extensive research, some of the perils aspiring authors experience is that they feel cheated out of sales, feel powerless and with no control over their work or success. UWP want to eliminate that sense of insecurity and confusion by putting the power back into the hands of the organization or individual who placed their work and trust into our hands.

How does UWP do that?

• By creating your own personal Ad page on UWP mega marketing website.
• Your own private email address so that those interested in contacting you directly or getting your books can do so
• You place your own personal PayPal (www.paypal.com) account on your page where your books can be purchased
• Your PayPal (www.paypal.com) account is linked to your own bank account guaranteeing that the funds will go to you
• You tell us who purchased your book, and the shipping address and we will place the order for you
• You keep track of your own sales, and success

What is the cost for UWP consulting fee?

• The cost is different for every project. Example: A children’s book cost may be different than the cost of a four hundred page collection of essays because of the page number, formatting etc.
• Cost is also affected by whether you are bringing a complete and printable project or if UWP will have to create a complete project for you.
• Many things affect COST. However, UWP guarantee that whatever final price is quoted to you will be honored as long as no changes are made to the project once the cost has been agreed upon by both Universal Write Publications LLC and YOU. That’s the UWP Promise.

Is there any additional cost that comes from Universal Write Publications?

• If you are an author and not published through Universal Write Publications LLC, you can rent a page for a small monthly fee associated with being listed on UWP established and widely publicized website. If you are published through UWP this service is FREE.
• This fee is to have your page updated and maintained by UWP as well as for the continued publicity and marketing efforts that maximizes your visibility and opportunity for sales.

How does your children’s book publishing work?

• Typically adults write children’s books. UWP have developed a fresh approach to have Children writing books for Children in their own age group through the CHEYANNE BOOK SERIES.
• The Cheyanne Book Series is the only program that UWP offers complete Traditional Publishing contract.
• UWP uses this program to promote its firm belief and on going campaign to uplift, educate and empower children to not only succeed in their classrooms and on standardized tests, but also to see the validity and importance of what they do in school beyond the classroom. We do this, by encouraging students to incorporate that same knowledge and apply it to publishing their stories.
• This series is a little different from our publishing program, which is discussed in the detailed package that is sent to the parent/guardian of a young author. For more information visit the CHEYANNE BOOK SERIES aspect of our website and for submission guidelines.

What about the School Publishing Program?

• This program is developed to help community organizations and schools foster the love of literature, writing, reading and English in the classroom.
• It works by building a partnership with your organization and UWP

What about marketing and publicity?

• You maintain full control and autonomy over your work and make all decisions for your marketing and publicity campaign. We are always here to help offer advice and consultation as to some of the ways you can do this. UWP has partnered with professional and seasoned designers, agents and PR firms in order to help you with all your marketing needs. Contact us at Info@Universalwrite.com for more details.
• Your books will be listed with Books In Print as well as Baker and Taylor and Ingram book distribution company and will be available for purchase through major book sales mediums because of our unique printing POD relationship we have.
• You don’t have to store, warehouse or stock books. With a simple order form and phone call, your readers can have their books delivered right to their door without you ever having to leave your desk.

Can we work with your Agent?

What if I choose to go to a mainstream publishing company?

• GREAT! UWP support and encourage your individual success with your work in whatever way makes you happy.
• You are not obligated to us by contract or other wise. If you are offered a contract or simply choose to not take advantage of our fully publicized website and marketing efforts, that’s your choice. It’s all apart of you being in control of your own creative masterpieces.
• Your cost of taking your book from idea to print ready to publish work is the only obligation you have to UWP. You can take your files to any company you would like. Either way, you have a home here at UWP until you have made that decision.
• our copyrights belong to you. This is a no hassle opportunity to get started on your personal publishing journey. We are here to help.
• I noticed there is a Movie & Film Company on your website. Does this mean if we work with you we get our books turned into movies?

Your final print ready project will not go to print until it’s met with your final approval and you have signed off on it.
